A/E Services For Remodel Clock Tower Center & Ornamental Horticulture

The scope of work provides for renovation of the Clock Tower Center and the Ornamental Horticulture Building. The clock Tower Center was constructed in the early 1900's with portions of the building remodeled in the last few years. Approximately 32,500 gross square feet of classroom and office space still requires remodeling. The project will include data and electrical wiring, plumbing and fire protection, updating the heating and ventilation mechanical units, update the restrooms to ADA compliance, replace windows, tuckpoint exterior and improve drainage in basement. The scope will also provide a renovation of the 4,400 square foot Ornamental Horticulture Building that will include replacement of the HVAC system, electrical, plumbing and sanitary piping, as well as, upgrading restrooms for ADA compliance and fire protection. Hazardous materials may be encountered. The State Historic Preservation Office should be consulted during every phase of this project. The A/E will need to determine if any components of this project are eligible for a utility company or other energy grant/rebate and will be responsible for preparing and submitting the grant application if the project qualifies for the rebate.
