Retube Boiler’s 1 & 2 at Burnside Elementary School

Secure two permit from the City of Chicago Boiler Inspection Department. Drain the boiler, remove all handhole and manhole openings. Flame cut out and remove (532) boiler tubes from the boiler. Clean out the steam drum of all loose scale. Clean the tube holes free of burrs and sharp edges. Install new tubes rolled and flared at the front and rear flue sheets. Fill and apply a water test on completion. Point and paint the burner refractory on completion.
