Description | Water Treatment Reservoir Filter Media Removal The term of the agreement is ninety days Any questions about this RFB shall be submitted in writing (via e-mail) to Andreea Miron, Buyer, at the following address: E-mail: amiron@eid.org To be considered, questions must be received by the District no later than 10AM PST December 12, 2022 A sign-in sheet will be available from the designated meeting start time to 15 minutes after the designated meeting start time only. Attendees will be expected to tour the job site during the pre-bid meeting. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and California law, please advise the Project Manager at least 72 hours prior to the meeting if you need special accommodations. The District reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to re-issue this RFB. The District may waive any minor informalities or irregularities in any Bid that are immaterial and inconsequential in nature. The District reserves the right to request additional written or oral information from proposers to obtain clarification of their Bids. The work will consist of removal of existing media from four filters (filter numbers 5-8) at the Reservoir A Water Treatment Plant, located in Pollock Pines and replacing with new sand and anthracite to match the below specifications. The contractor on their bid shall submit all costs as associated with the bid form below. All material shall be NSF approved and shall be submitted to the District for review and approval prior to placement. All filter media material must be cleaned and rinsed prior to being placed in the filters. The cleaning shall be documented and submitted prior to the placement at each filter |
