Description | Isleta Pueblo Housing Authority (IPHA) is requesting statements of qualifications from experienced firms for the design and construction of a new 14-home subdivision. The project will be administered and executed under the Native American Housing Assistance and Self Determination Act (NAHASDA) with IPHA as Owner, and in strict accordance with all applicable federal and tribal laws and regulations. IPHA plans to develop a contiguous tract of land (approximately 5 AC) which is presently subdivided into 14 residential lots of generally equal size (Approximately 90 LF X 120 LF each). The development site is located approximately 20 miles south of Albuquerque, NM on the Isleta Indian Reservation and roughly 3/4 miles east of Interstate 25. Site development will include subgrade prep, base course, concrete and asphalt paved walks and roadway, underground wet and dry utilities, storm drain system, landscaping, site lighting, CMU walls and residential fencing. All basic development features will be further defined in the Statement of Project Requirements. Consistent with the NAHASDA and the procurement standard of 2 CFR Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements governing the grant require that to the greatest extent feasible, opportunities for training and employment arising in connection with this HUD assisted project will be extended to Indians. Further, preferences in the award of contracts and subcontracts shall be given to Indian organizations and Indian-owned Economic Enterprises. |
