Description

This is a requirement for both interior work and the delivery and installation of white 60 mil Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) on the roofs of two shipping container offices located on Cannon Air Force Base (CAFB). The contractor shall furnish all necessary parts, labor, tools, transportation, supplies, supervision, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary for providing all work described in the Statement of Work (SOW) dated 11 July 2022 and all applicable codes, regulations, standards and criteria in effect at the date of solicitation. Please review all attached documents and submit a filled out combined synopsis solicitation form found under attachments. DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSED WORK. The work to be performed under this contract and in accordance with this Statement of Work (SOW) shall consist of furnishing all necessary parts, labor, tools, transportation, supplies, supervision, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary for providing all work described in this SOW and all applicable codes, regulations, standards and criteria in effect at the date of solicitation. Exterior Work (multiply work by 2): Work shall consist of cleaning and preparation of steel roof area for each unit. Application of 60 mil white EPDM shall be fully adhered, turned down over all edges by 4" and fastened with termination bar. Contractor shall ensure all joints are adhered utilizing EPDM seam tape. Interior Work (multiply work by 2): Contractor shall remove all ceiling tiles, wall cabinets and shelving in both units. The Contractor is responsible for the removal of all trash and waste products that result from the equipment repairs. The Contractor shall replace damaged sheet rock, patch all holes in walls as needed and paint the walls to match the original wall color. The contractor shall remove and replace damaged or stained diffusers with a like replacement, install new ceiling tiles (2'x4') similar to USG radar tile, buff the VC tile, and steam clean the carpets. The Contractor shall provide a two-year warrant for weather tightness. 1.1 LOCATION. All work is to be performed at the two storage container offices located north of building 780 on Cannon Air Force Base. 1.2 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE. The Period of Performance (POP) duration is not to exceed 30 days after contract award. 1.3 HOURS OF OPERATION. Regular working hours will consist of a 9-hour period, between 08:00 a.m. and 05:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding Government holidays IAW UFGS 01 14 00 Work Restrictions. 1.4 SECURE AREAS. The Contractor shall ensure all employees comply with all security requirements imposed by the installation all times and shall follow all instructions of the installation having jurisdiction over the area being serviced in all matters pertaining to security. The Contractor and his personnel shall be required to coordinate and schedule all work in classified and restricted areas with appropriate Government representatives prior to entering these areas. Requirement: Shipping Container Offices Solicitation FA4855-22-Q-0014 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number FA485522Q0014 shall be used to reference any written quote provided under this RFQ. The RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-06; Effective 26 May 2022. This is a set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 236220 with a size standard of $39.5 Million. Note: .zip files are not an acceptable format for the Air Force Network and will not go through our email system. A site visit has been scheduled for 10:00 AM Mountain Daylight Time on 8 August 2022. Participants will meet at Cannon AFB Visitor's Center. Site visits may be arranged during normal duty hours by contacting Mari Blyler at mari.blyler@us.af.mil. Please provide a list of attendees who wish to take part in the site visit. Any and all people who join us on the site visit will need to bring a valid driver's license with them in order gain entry. The Contractor will also need the vehicle registration for any cars that will be driven on the base for the day.
