A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Questions Due Date: Jun 2nd 2022, 5:00 PM EDT Demolition Services for Scattered, Conventional and High Rise Residential Properties PHA encourages minority, woman-owned and Section 3 businesses to submit bids and participate in joint ventures. For inquiries related to this effort, contact vanessa.martin@pha.phila.gov. he Work consists of the conventional demolition and removal of one (1) building. Additionally, any related asphalt & concrete paved areas for utility line removals and as damaged by structure demolition will be removed and repaired. The project shall be a complete operation, which includes but is not limited to the following work components itemized below and specified in other parts of the specification documents. 1. Preparation of the site including vermin / rodent control and extermination 2. Site protection including adjacent private and public properties. 3. Site security, which may include, upon approval, fenced and gated entrances entering the site from the surrounding areas at the discretion of the DC Upon award of the contract the C.M. will be responsible to remove any third party dumping on site. Security shall be implemented to minimize such occurrences. A six (6) foot high cyclone fence will be installed around the property line upon final completion of the project. 4. Demolition, Removal and Legal Disposal of building as indicated with in this RFP. 5. Demolition, Removal and Legal Disposal of all demolition debris, underground foundations, and basements including concrete slabs for the buildings as indicated. 6. Demolition, Removal and Legal Disposal of all components, furnishings, and all other items contained within the buildings. 7. Removal and Legal Disposal of all existing site debris, currently located on site at the time of contract award. 8. Disconnection and capping of all water services and sewer services prior to any demolition of structures. All site gas supply must be terminated prior to any demolition and. D.C. shall confirm and re-test as necessary all gas supplies to assure termination and all lines purged prior to any demolition. All utility abandonment must be in full compliance with the utility companies and city jurisdiction methods, policies and procedures. D.C. will be responsible for any and all fees charged by the Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW) and Philadelphia Water Dept., for any required services rendered. All gas and water lines made visible during building demolition and located directly under building being removed must also be removed. |
