| Description | A. The Work to be performed shall consist of furnishing plant, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, and manufactured articles, and furnishing all labor, transportation, and services, including but not limited to fuel, power, water, essential communications, and performing all Work or other operations required in strict accordance with the Drawings and these specifications. The Work shall be complete, and all Work, materials, and services not expressly indicated or called for in the Contract Documents which may be necessary for the complete and proper construction of the Work in good faith shall be provided by the Contractor as though originally so indicated, at no increase in cost to the City. B. The Project is located at several locations in the City of Kalamazoo Michigan, as shown on contract drawings and generally consists of electrical, instrumentation and mechanical process upgrades at water station No. 11, water station No.24, and water station No.25. C. Water station No. 11, the work consists of installation of new motorized actuators, upgrades to the existing two main control panels, and associated electrical work for these upgrades including conduit and wire. D. Water station No. 24, the work consists of upgrading the existing main control panel, installation of a new main control panel, electrical upgrades for installation of a new variable frequency drive and check valve for booster pump No. 1, radios and control panels at the well pads near station No. 24, and upgrades to the existing chemical feed system including conduit and wire. E. Water station No. 25, the work consists of upgrading the existing main control panel, installation of three new variable frequency drives, check valves, and associated suction and discharge piping and new butterfly valves, as well as new conduit and wire. | ||
