Description | As of August 2022, this project is set to go before the Board of Directors in October 2022 Replacement of parallel 54- and 84-inch unlined reinforced concrete pipe with a single non-corrosive interceptor along Bear Creek from Hunter Ferrell Road to IH-30. Phase 1 includes 8840 LF of 84- to 96-inch interceptor / four siphons / and replacement of meter stations MS1_0B and MS2_0B. The Bear Creek Interceptor converges with the West Fork Interceptor at the downstream limits of Phase 1 improvements. The project limits were amended to include 5000 LF of 110-inch realignment of the West Fork Interceptor Segment WF-G following an emergency repair of the pipeline due to slope embankment failure in March 2020.
