Separate written sealed BIDS for a General Contract for the furnishing of all labor and materials for the construction of: GRANTS FERRY PARKWAY SEWER EXTENSION Bidders must be qualified under Mississippi State Law and show Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors. Project includes but is not limited to the installation of approximately 17,000 linear feet of sanitary sewer line ranging in size from 8" to 18" diameter, approximately 50 new manholes, and all other associated work required to complete the as shown and specified in the plans and contract documents. Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the INTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. Attorneys-in-fact who sign Bid Bonds, Payment Bonds or Performance Bonds must file with each bond a certified and effective dated copy of their Power of Attorney. Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities, equipment, material and/or supply needs. The Contract Time is Three Hundred Sixty-five (365) consecutive calendar days with liquidated damages being Five Hundred Dollars ($500) per calendar day thereafter.
