Q/A Cutoff Date: 07/20/2022 Q/A Cutoff Time: 03:00 PM EDT The Housing Authority of the City of Decatur, Alabama (DHA or Agency) is seeking bids from qualified and licensed entities to provide the DHA with painting services on an "AS NEEDED BASIS" for DHA public housing units and Decatur Housing Development Community (DHDC) rental units. The DHA/DHDC may contract with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for each entity. More than One Award Possible. Although, it is DHA's desire to contract with one company, DHA reserves the right to complete award to one company only or to complete award to multiple companies. If award is made to more than one firm, such awards will be based on the Agency's opinion that a firm can offer the Agency greater value for a certain service area ("service area(s)" as detailed within the immediate-following services. The Agency reserves the right to make such decision at any time during the ensuing contract period(s) meaning, the Agency could initially make award to one firm only, then, at any time during the ensuing contract period(s), decide to make an additional award(s) if the Agency decides such is in its best interests to do so. Service will be performed in a variety of locations including apartments, single family homes, and elderly/disabled family high-rise units. All unique requirements for each location shall be strictly followed by the Contractor and the Contractor's employees.
