Description Contractor will furnish, deliver and set up the material and labor necessary for the completion of replacing piping to both pumps in the north vault. Contractor will replace piping from the discharge side of pump #1 to two-inch tee at manifold, including flex, union, isolation valve, and fittings. Contractor will replace 3 x 2.5 reducer at suction side of pump. Contractor will replace piping from the discharge side of pump #2 from flex to two-inch tee of manifold, including unions, checks, and fittings. Contractor will install hangers as needed to make repairs. VA personnel will drain and fill the system prior to the contractor starting work and after contractor has completed the work. Contractor must stay onsite during filling of system to check for leaks. It is highly recommended that potential contractors visit and survey the site before placing a bid. Contractor will dispose of any trash or material in dumpster located by building 14.
