Scope of work. The elevator contract is intended to provide complete full preventive maintenance and repair service for all passenger and service elevators at the St Petersburg VARO as specified in ASME A17.2-2010. Compliance with all state and federal regulations pertaining to the safe operation of public/service elevators is also required. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, administrative support, materials, tools, parts, supplies, equipment, and transportation necessary to effectively and efficiently fulfill all the requirements of this Statement of Work (SOW). The scope of services includes routine scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) services; scheduled and unscheduled maintenance repair; testing and diagnostic functions; and immediate (within 2 hours) response to service calls and emergency entrapments for all elevators within the VARO. This scope of work also includes conducting an annual periodic safety test as outlined in the American National Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators, ANSI A 17.1. New elevator components repaired and/or installed during the duration of the contract will be maintained under this elevator maintenance contract. The Contractor will coordinate with the Contracting Officers Representative (COR) for any new component implementation to ensure that any project related warranty and contractual service on existing and new components remains in force.
