Description | For On-Call Services The scope of work consists of two aspects, emergency and non-emergency services. Emergency on-call response addresses unplanned events that impact health, safety and property damage. Non-emergency responses are for planned activities scheduled in advance. All precautions shall be taken for health, safety and property damage in responding to both emergency and non-emergency work under this request for services Bid Bond: 0.00% Payment Bond: 0.00% Performance Bond: 0.00% Pre-Bid Meeting: No Online Q&A: Yes Questions Due January 10, 2023 Responses to Questions Issued January 18, 2023 Written questions about this RFP should be submitted electronically The City intends to execute a three-year contract with the most qualified contractor(s) with an option to extend on a yearly basis for up to two additional years. The Contract(s) will be awarded at the discretion of the Menlo Park City Council. The City of Menlo Park reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals received as a result of this request, to negotiate with any qualified source, or to cancel in part or in its entirety this RFP. Proposals and materials submitted will become the property of the City and will not be deemed confidential or proprietary. Note that the contract amount may be increased annually based upon the Engineer's News Record Construction Price Index for San Francisco or no greater than five percent. It is expressly understood that FIRST PARTY is licensed and skilled in the professional calling necessary to perform the work agreed to be done by it under this agreement and CITY relies upon the skill of FIRST PARTY to do and perform said work in a skillful manner usual to the profession. The acceptance of FIRST PARTY's work by CITY does not operate as a release of FIRST PARTY from said understanding. Contractor shall obtain any license, permit, or approval if necessary from any agency whatsoever for the work/services to be performed, at his/her own expense, before commencement of said work/services or forfeit any right to compensation under this agreement. |
