S208--National Cemetery Administration - Southeast District - Cape Canaveral National Cemetery - Solicitation for New Grounds Maintenance Contract-Base and 4 Option Years

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary to ensure that grounds maintenance is performed at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in a manner that will maintain healthy grass, trees, shrubs, and plants and present a clean, neat, and professional appearance throughout. Services include, but are not limited to maintenance of grounds, regular mowing, weed eating, removal of leaves and debris, as well as, sweeping or blowing off roads and sidewalks, maintenance of gravesites and headstones, and the alignment and washing of headstones, headstone maintenance, turf maintenance, plant and tree maintenance, sunken grave repair, trash removal, and janitorial services. All work will be done during the cemetery’s normal Federal workdays and hours (8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) with the exception to rare after hour and weekend occurrences. The cemetery is not closed more than two consecutive days therefore a weekend and holiday burial schedule will be provided by the cemetery.
