Description | Bid guarantee in the amount of 5% of the total bid must accompany any bid submitted. The 5% bid guarantee may be in the form a bid bond secured and issued by a surety or guaranty company authorized to do business in the State of Wyoming or a cashier s check made payable to the City of Cheyenne. The successful bidder shall furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the accepted bid. A surety bond is required for contracts over $150,000.00. Provisions of Wyoming Statute 15-1-113 are, by reference, made an express part of the contract documents. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formalities in the bidding. SUMMARY OF PROJECT A. This project involves the installation of a new sanitary sewer lift station and abandonment of the existing lift station. The lift station and components are to be supplied by the Owner and have been ordered for delivery on or around March 20, 2024. A brief summary of items to be completed under this contract includes: 1. Safely unload all the pre-ordered and owner supplied equipment on the day it arrives at the project site. 2. Removal of items from the existing wet well called out on the plans. 3. Lining the existing wet well walls. 4. Disconnecting power from the existing lift station and relocating the power to tie into the new lift station.Installing the new lift station, lift station base, piping for lift station and force main connection, electrical tie ins, pumps, crane/winch, etc. 6. Construction of a crane base and installation of the owner supplied crane/winch. 7. Coordinating final installation and connection of all internal components with the supplier (Russell Industries). 8. Coordinating necessary testing of the lift station and all components with the supplier (Russell Industries) and scheduling a final formal start up with Owner and Engineer. 9. Coordinating, scheduling, and attending training of the use of the new equipment for the Owner and its representatives with the supplier (Russell Industries). 10. Fabrication and installation of new grates on the sand traps inside the Transfer Station facility. 11. Supplying six (6) copies of Operations and Maintenance Manuals (O&M Manuals) to the Owner/Engine |
