Description | NOTICE West 15th STREET SIDEWALK PROJECT - # TAPSU-TA21(901) Bid Submission Deadline & Bid Opening Time: Tuesday May 23rd, 2023 at 11 am Address for Bid Submission & City Hall - City of Anniston 4309 McClellan Boulevard, Anniston, AL 36206 ATTN: Steven Folks/City Manager Sealed bids for the construction of sidewalk on W 15th Avenue from the Chief Ladiga Trail to Kelley Avenue (both sides of the road) and Kelley Avenue from W 15th Street to W 14th Street (east side only) shall be received by the Anniston City Manager, Steven Folks, 4309 McClellan Boulevard Anniston AL 36206 until 11 am on Tuesday May 23rd, 2023. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 11 am. No bids shall be accepted after this time. The project will consist of sidewalk construction of approximately 2,600' on W 15th Avenue from the Chief Ladiga Trail to Kelley Avenue (both sides of the road) and Kelley Avenue from W 15th Street to W 14th Street (east side only). The primary work items include sidewalks, curb & gutter, and driveways, and lighting. The engineer's estimated cost is $625,000. The bid package may be obtained by emailing your request to Matt Stoops, PE at mstoops@sain.com. Technical questions about the project should be emailed to Mr. Stoops. All bidders must be licensed by the State of Alabama Licensing Board of General Contractors, as required by Chap 8 of Title 34 of the Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope. A bid bond is required. The City of Anniston reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding process. The award will be made to a responsive contractor that meets minimum qualifications and submits the lowest responsible bid.
