Description | Questions regarding distribution of Contract Documents and design related questions for this project shall be directed to Parkhill | Schrickel Rollins (attention James Williams, RLA). Email questions to James Williams at jrwilliams@parkhill.com. All questions concerning this project shall be submitted by 5:00 PM on January 3, 2023. Any questions submitted after this time and date will not be addressed. This project generally consists of: Demolition, earthwork, utilities, storm drainage, pedestrian paving, specialty paving, pavers, post-tension pickleball courts, synthetic turf, pre-manufactured pavilions, a building (office, restrooms & covered patios), sports lighting, entry monument sign, ornamental fence, chain link fence, retaining wall, site amenities, landscape, turfgrass and irrigation. Bidders must submit a cashier's check, certified check, or acceptable bidder's bond with their proposal as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract for the project with the Owner within ten (10) days of Notice of Award of the contract. The security must be payable to the City of Southlake in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid submitted. Contractor must execute the contract, bonds and certificates of insurance on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Contractors for this Project must pay no less than the prevailing wage rates for the area established by the Owner and included in the contract documents. Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bonds, bound to the City of Southlake are required, each in an amount of not less than one-hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the contract and upon payment of all persons supplying labor or furnishing materials. The City of Southlake reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous interpretation of the bids submitted in the case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating proposal prices, to reject any or all bids, and/or waive formalities. Bids may not be withdrawn within ninety (90) days from date on which bids are opened.
