Description

**As of August 17, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. Award is anticipated the end of the month or the beginning of next month to Phoenix.** Cont 1: new Water Storage Tower, foundation, demo of ex. tower, storm sewer, HMA work Cont 2: 750' of 8" raw water main from new well house to ex. WWTP Cont 3: install 256 water meters Cont 4: abandon two wells, const two Type 1 water supply wells and wellhouse, ex. WWTP imps Contract 1 - Elevated Water Tower: The work includes construction of a new 100,000 Gallon Water Storage Tower, new foundation, demolition of the existing 100,000-gallon water storage tower, storm sewer, site work and HMA work with other appurtenances. Contract 2 - New Raw Water Main: The work includes approximately 750' of 8" raw water main directional drilled and open cut from a new well house to existing water treatment plant. Project also includes new curb and gutter replacement, sidewalk replacement, and lawn restoration and other appurtenances. Contract 3 - Water Meter Replacements: The work includes providing and installing 256 water meters in the sizes specified while coordinating all work with the Village and Village Customers. Contract 4 - Water Supply: The project includes abandonment of two wells, construction of two Type 1 water supply wells and a wellhouse, and improvements to the existing water treatment plant including chemical feed system, SCADA system, and electrical and control improvements. This DWSRF 7687-01 Water System Upgrades project is comprised of four contracts that will be bid separately: Contract 1 - Elevated Water Tower Contract 2 - New Raw Water Main Contract 3 - Water Meter Replacements Contract 4 - Water Supply WAGES: This project is subject to prevailing wages.
