Description | The Teton Mobility Project is a cooperative effort between the Town of Jackson/Teton County Pathways program and Friends of Pathways to update the 2007 Pathways Master Plan and identify a prioritized project list that will guide the next 10+ years of active transportation projects in Jackson Hole. Over the past two years, FOP and the Town/County have worked with Alta Planning and Design to conduct public outreach, data collection and analysis, project screening, and project prioritization to develop the proposed project list. The project report and priority list are now ready to submit to the Town Council and County Commission for approval. The Town/County Pathways Program is seeking a qualified strategic planning/public relations consultant to assist with strategic messaging and conveyance to the public and elected officials to ensure a successful public engagement process, culminating in the adoption of the project priority list and Master Plan update by the Jackson Town Council and Teton County Board of County Commissioners. The TMP process has actively engaged the public, Town and County staff, partner organizations, and elected officials over the last 24 months. Town/County Pathways staff has identified the need for careful and strategic messaging of the project's findings and recommended project priority list. This may include additional outreach to stakeholders (pathway users, partner agencies, and possibly private property owners) and elected officials. |
