Description

Bid proposals must be submitted on the original documents provided in the accompanying bid packet. Informational copies of the maps, plans and specifications will be on file for inspection at the office of the County Engineer at the address noted above, the County website and in various plan centers located in Washington. The County of Okanogan in accordance with section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act (Section 504) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), commits to nondiscrimination on the basis of disability, in all of its programs and activities. The County of Okanogan in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally-assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex, in consideration for an award. The Board of Commissioners of Okanogan County, reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in the bidding. The award of this contract, if made, will be to the lowest responsible bidder. This is a Federally Funded project that provides for the improvement of Okanogan County Road No. 9114 Twisp River Road, from BMP 1.28 to EMP 1.307. Cleaning and painting the metal surfaces of the Bridge, scarifying concrete surface, polyester concrete overlay, expansion joint modification, temporary traffic control, temporary erosion and sediment control, and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications
