2019 NJDOT Municipal Aid and Transit Village Funded Grant - Main Street Streetscape and Two-Way Conversion Phase II

The work will include but is not limited to, the construction of approximately ten thousand five hundred twenty (10,520) square yards of millings, one thousand three hundred (1,300) tons of hot mix asphalt, two thousand two hundred sixty (2,260) square yards of concrete sidewalks, one thousand three hundred thirty (1,330) square yards of stone paver walkway, three thousand four hundred forty (3,440) linear feet of concrete vertical curb, two hundred seventy (270) linear feet of granite block curb and three hundred ten (310) existing castings to be re-set. The project also includes soil erosion and traffic control measures, clearing site, traffic striping and markings, signs, installation of various site amenities and accessories, plantings, electrical conduit, light fixture footings, and utility coordination for installation of utility provided lighting. The entire project shall be constructed on and along Main Street from its intersection with Mercer Street to Passaic Street. No work associated with this project shall occur outside these project limits. The Contractor will abide by conditions and requirements for the scope of work and all coordination with property owners before and after installation activities. Complementary work to furnish and install accessory materials may be if and where directed items by the Owner. The contractor shall be responsible for providing all labor, supervision, trade skills, materials, and equipment required for this project as described in the Construction Documents.
