Architectural/Engineering Services - Morehouse Tower - 7th-8th Floor Updates

The project site is located at the Wexner Medical Center Morehouse Medical Plaza Tower (127,815s.f.) on 2050 Kenny Road. The project will focus on renovating the vacated 7th floor (11,3198s.f.) followed by the 8th floor (11,319s.f.). Construction will be phased with General and Gastrointestinal Surgery, currently on the 8th Floor, moving to the 7th floor when ready. The project shall align construction sequencing with adjoining Chiller and Electrical project for the installation of Air Handling Unit and tie-in of the HVAC from the newly constructed Tower Addition. The 7th floor renovation will be more invasive than the 8th floor including reuse of 18 of the current 19 patient exam rooms. Updated finishes throughout the floor will occur to align with current branding standards. ADA upgrades, FFE, flooring, base, paint, wall protection and signage shall be addressed. There will be no major changes in room utilization anticipated on the 8th Floor. Primary scope includes HVAC update along with ADA upgrades, FFE, flooring, base, paint, wall protection, signage and branding shall be addressed.
