Security Entrance Renovations at Marlborough Elementary School and Upper Perkiomen High School

1. Marlborough Elementary School: Alterations to the exterior sidewalks, and main entrance Lobby of the Marlborough Elementary School to construct a secure entry vestibule. Work includes demolition of exterior sidewalks and creation of new sidewalks and decorative/obstructive planter. One existing storefront window on the front facade shall be reconfigured into a new entry into a secured vestibule to be carved out of the existing lobby space. Alternate scopes of work include installation of an entrance canopy and security film on existing glazing. Additional work includes minor modifications to existing Electric/Lighting and installation of a recessed new unit heater. 2. Upper Perkiomen High School: Alterations to the Auditorium Entry Vestibule of the Upper Perkiomen High School to construct a secured, accessible visitor’s entrance. Work shall include removal of existing storefront frames and doors, construction of a new security office adjacent to the vestibule, and an expansion to the vestibule with new storefront framing and doors. Additional work includes application of security film to existing glazing, and minor modifications to local HVAC and Electric/Lighting. General $170,000.00 Electrical $20,000.00
