ESTIMATE: $ 565,000- $ 655,000 (Base Bid Schedule) $ 6,000- $ 7,500 (Alternative Bid Schedule 1) *The value for this project is based on a financial range. RFIs should be addressed and sent to: County of Riverside Transportation Department Attention: Contracts/Bidding Unit 3525 14th Street Riverside, CA 92501 Facsimile: (951) 955-3164 Electronic mail: jrjimenez@rivco.org and/or Bids-Contracts@rivco.org Question Deadline 05/17/2023 In general, this project consists of resurfacing approximately 0.63 mile of existing asphalt concrete (AC) pavement of Sycamore Canyon Boulevard from Central Avenue to College Boulevard located in the Community of University City of Riverside County. Mainly, the project will consist of two treatment types. The first treatment consists of removing the existing asphalt concrete pavement and underlying material to the depth as shown on the plans and placing back Rubberized Hot Mix Asphalt (RHMA) over Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) pavement per the structural section shown on the plans. The second treatment will require cold planning of existing asphalt concrete pavement and overlaying back with RHMA. The proposed project also will include but is not limited to: i One weekend closure i Seal cracks and apply tack coat prior to overlaying with RHMA and/or HMA i Reconstruction of concrete curb and gutter, and sidewalk i Removal/Salvaging of existing roadside signs and installation of new roadside signs i Utility adjustments i Installation of detector loops i Placement of traffic striping, retroreflective pavement markers, and thermoplastic pavement markings i Any other work as may be required |
