Description

1. The existing building’s heating ventilation and air conditioning (“HVAC”) system shall be evaluated to generate a report to outline the scope of work relating to correcting the air and moisture infiltration issues of the existing Facility. Key mechanical system components to be assessed for repair or replacement include but are not limited to: a. Air handling units b. Roof-top units c. Dehumidification system d. Air cooled chillers e. Glycol feed system f. Mechanical unit dunnage requirements g. Building management system (“BMS”) and the integration of existing to remain and new components 2. The existing building’s emergency power components shall be evaluated to generate a report to outline the scope of work related to upgrades required for a fully functioning, code compliant system that supports the Facility. Key emergency power system components to be assessed for repair or replacement include but are not limited to: a. Gear modifications for transfer switch b. Generator fuel tank and enclosure c. Generator battery charger 3. The existing building’s fire alarm components shall be evaluated to generate a report to outline the scope of work related to upgrades required for a fully functioning, code compliant system that supports the Facility. Key fire alarm system components to be assessed for repair or replacement include but are not limited to: a. Fire alarm smoke control system b. Fire alarm panel communication coordination c. Fire alarm fire pump service d. BMS and the integration of existing to remain and new components e. Fire alarm system troubles and supervisory signals 4. The existing building’s electrical system components shall be evaluated to generate a report to outline the scope of work related to upgrades required for a fully functioning, code compliant system that supports the Facility. Key electrical system components to be assessed for repair or replacement include but are not limited to: a. Electrical switchboards b. Electrical panelboards c. Electrical bus duct d. Emergency lighting e. Electrical coordination required for HVAC, fire alarm, and emergency power.
