Description

Contractor Awarded Address: Glen Allen, VA USA Base and All Options Value (Total Contract Value): $1677590.00 NASA intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to an interested bidder. This procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 14 (SEALED BIDDING) and Part 36 (CONSTRUCTION) and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures therein. Offerors shallcomplete blocks 14 thru 20c of the attached Standard Form 1442 and submit with their bid. For this project, in accordance with the Statement of Work, Attachment A, Specifications, Attachment B, and Drawings, Attachment C, referenced in Section J.1, the scope of work including base bid and options shall include but is not limited to: Portland cement concrete (PCC) spall repairs, full depth repairs, full slab replacements, crack sealing, joint sealing, and asphalt concrete (AC) seal coating. Wallops Airfield Repairs, FCLP Phase 9, focuses on performing routine maintenance per the recommendation from Site Specific Report - Airfield Pavement Condition Survey, Wallops Flight Facility dated September 2018. Various PCC and AC repairs to pavements associated with the Runway 28 approach, the taxiways supporting Runway 10-28, and the east B. D-001 ramp. The work to be completed shall include furnishing, as applicable or may be required, all Contractor's plant, equipment, safety devices, labor, tools, materials, supplies, and services; and performing all operations necessary to a complete project in conformity with the scope of work. This competitive procurement is anticipated to result in a Firm Fixed Price construction contract, under a full and open competition. Though the period of performance is 270 days from Notice-To-Proceed (NTP) Site Visit 52.236-27 Site Visit (Construction), Alt I. (FEB 1995). An organized site visit has been scheduled for August 11, 2022, at 10:00 am (EST). Participants will meet outside of the Wallops Flight Facility Badging Office N-001,at 34200 Fulton Street, Wallops Island, VA 23337, to receive their visitor badge. Site Visit Instructions All site visit attendees must be submitted by the Prime Contractor, including legal first name, middle initial, last names, company, citizenship, and phone number via e-mail, to Contract Specialist Tiera Greene at Tiera.M.Greene@nasa.gov and cc' Contracting Officer Maikeyza Brown at Maikeyza.Brown-1@nasa.gov no later than (NLT) 2:00 p.m. (EST), on August 5, 2022. Please ensure names of attendees submitted for badge access match EXACTLY as indicated on identification to ensure badge access to the site. Please limit site visit attendees to no more than three (5) people including any/all subcontractors. Attendees shall travel to each site location using their own personal vehicle.
