Description

1. All concrete pads will be a minimum of 10” thick / match existing, continuously with #4 bar mat 12” on center, with dowels every 24”. The tied rebar mat should be sitting on chairs and to be centered in the pour. 2. All concrete shall be high early 7 sack. 3. All new and existing concrete expansion joints must be sealed with self-leveling polyurethane. 4. Concrete control joints will be a minimum of 1 1/2” or saw cut. Slab control joints will be cut within 12 hours of placement. To be sealed with self-leveling polyurethane. 5. Finish pads to a non-slip surface with a broom finish, free from defects, vandalism, graffiti and blemishes. 6. Concrete pads shall have approximately 1/8” per foot of slope to provide for water run-off / match existing. 7. Concrete pads will be set on level and stable class II sand or 21 AA gravel that has been properly compacted to 95% density. 8. Contractor is responsible for protecting any existing concrete and replacing any damaged concrete due to construction at Contractor’s expense. 9. Contractor to clean up all job debris, including removal and disposal of all debris. 10. Contractor to provide work schedule to CATA’s Project Manager within five (5) business days of award.Once the scheduled work to commence it is expected to be worked on rigorously until completion to minimize closure of the west side of the property. CATA is only prepared for 15 calendar days of a hard closure. 11. Contractor is responsible for de-watering. Drain in retaining wall to be temporarily rerouted by Contractor if necessary
