Description

A Bid Security is required in the amount of 5% of the bid. Bid Security must be in the form of an AIA Document A310 Bid Bond, certified check, or cashiers check made payable to the Owner. Bid Security will be forfeited if a bidder who has been awarded the contract fails to execute the Owner/Contractor Agreement within 10 days of notification by Owner. Bid Security for unsuccessful bidders will be returned no later than 30 days after the contract is first awarded. Questions concerning this bid must be submitted in writing and directed only to: Name: Ms. Lee A. Flaherty, Junior Buyer Email: LFlaherty@fairfieldct.org The last day to submit questions is Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. 1. Site preparation and work area protection required to perform work. 2. Removal of existing site materials related to new construction. 3. Installation of new guardrails and handrails. 4. Construction of new asphalt ramp landing and re-grading for same. 5. Construction on new concrete stairs. 6. Removal of work area protection devices, cleaning and restoration of areas not part of work. 7. The schedule for completion of the work is 45 days from written notice to proceed from the Owner. 8. All work under this contract shall be warranted for a period of two (2) years, in addition to warranties required under specific conditions of this Specification. 9. Photographic documentation of existing conditions and new work
