Description | 1. Complete the artificial turf and related work as shown in the drawings and specified in the following sections: Dynamic Base Construction 31 2100 Synthetic Turf System 32 2200 Synthetic Turf Underlayment System 32 2201 2. All necessary surveying and staking for this contractor’s work. The Construction Manager will supply control points and establish a benchmark. 3. Obtain the services of a registered surveyor to provide grade stakes prior to fine grading and prior to the placement of turf. Any discrepancies of grades or structures must be reported to the Construction Manager prior to placing turf. 4. Applicable fees, permits, inspections, etc. as required for the completion of the work in this bid category. 5. Provide Pricing for all alternates. 6. Implement and maintain all BMP's deemed necessary by either the Certified Storm Water Operator or the Agency responsible for jurisdiction of Protection Act 451. 7. Protect existing channel drains and storm sewer. 8. Furnish and install track protection mat bridge. Protect existing track and long jump runways from any damage. Remove and dispose upon completion of the project. 9. Photo document existing conditions. 10. Maintain and control grades to facilitate the run-off of site surface water. 11. This bid category is responsible for everything inside the turfed area, including Demolition. 12. Demolition shown on the demolition plans or required to complete this scope of work but not shown is the responsibility of this contractor. 13. Field lines and logos. 14. Field corner marker supply and installation. 15. Supply and maintain barricading as required for your work. 16. Confirm existing wood nailers and handholes are in sound condition replace with treated wood as needed. Provide pricing for treated wood replacements in Alternate 4. 17. Soil erosion permit and erosion control. 18. Power wash all existing trough drains, drain lines and clean out sumps of all existing catch basins scheduled to remain. 19. Asphalt pavement subbase construction per details. Gravel subbase to be graded and compacted to +/-0.05 foot. Final grading and proof rolling are the responsibility of asphalt paving or concrete contractor. This contractor is responsible for compaction and/or correction of any areas that do not pass tests. |
