Description | Plainwell Community Schools will receive proposals from qualified manufacturers for Additions and Renovations at the Gilkey Elementary, located at 707 S. Woodhams, Plainwell, MI 49080. A. ALTERNATE NO. C-1: Provide all costs associated with drive and parking lot repaving as shown on drawings. B. ALTERNATE NO. M-1: Provide all costs associated with the provision and installation of the bipolar ionization filtration system for new and existing HVAC equipment. C. ALTERNATE NO. E-1: Provide new lighting in rooms as shown on drawings. All proposals must be sealed in envelopes, plainly labeled "Proposal for Plainwell Community Schools - Gilkey Elementary Additions and Renovations. Any questions or RFI's should be submitted in writing to David Beckering; email: djb@beckering.com There will not be a Pre-Bid Meeting for this project. A bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid in the form of a bid bond, certified or cashiers' check is required and payable to Plainwell Community Schools. All proposals must include a sworn statement disclosing any familial relationship between the business owner or employee and any member of the school board or the school superintendent. All proposals must include an Affidavit of Compliance with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act. Applicable Michigan sales and use tax apply to this project. Prevailing wages DO NOT apply to this project. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in proposals. Proposals shall remain firm for sixty (60) days from date of bid opening. Bid Package #1 included long lead mechanical equipment. Bid Package #2 includes all other work besides the Mechanical Equipment purchased in Bid Package #1.
