Knoll Recreation Area Sanitary Sewer Improvements

This project will consist of sewer improvements to the Knoll Recreation Area and will include the following: Demolition of five (5) existing pump stations and abandonment of the majority of the existing force main; Construction of a new, centrally located pump station, consisting of two (2) wet well mounted submersible pumps, an emergency generator, a pre-cast concrete building, and an access drive. The building will house all electrical panels, valves, and a bathroom; Construction of a new force main and gravity collection system to convey wastewater from buildings within the recreation area to the new pump station and township collection system. Work will include slip lining required to cross the Jersey City Aqueduct; and Construction of two (2) below grade, pre-cast concrete grease traps at the two (2) club houses / banquet hall facilities (Knoll West / Knoll East). Work at Knoll East will include re-plumbing of the building sewer all in accordance to the Construction Documents prepared by Jacobs Engineering locate as 412 Mt. Kemble Road in Morristown, New Jersey.
