Description | The City of Milton, Florida (City) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms interested in providing professional engineer/architecture services in conjunction with the Citys proposed Florida Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project. The project consists of drainage improvements,street resurfacing, and waterline replacement on Broad and Quinn Street AND drainage improvements along Okaloosa Street. Professional services required shall be secured in accordance with 2 CFR 200, Rule 73c-23, and applicable Florida Statutes and the City of Milton Procurement Policy 9.0. Entities interested in submitting a proposal(s) should contact the Purchasing Officer, Diane E. Ebentheuer, CGFO at (850) 983-5438 or by email at debentheuer@miltonFL.org and request a proposal package which details the proposed project, scope of services required, proposal requirements and the criteria under which proposals will be evaluated. The City proposes to award a contract or contracts to the provider whose proposal(s) is/are deemed most advantageous to the City subject to the negotiation of fair and reasonable compensation consistent with industry standards. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and if an award is made, it will be made to the most responsible firm whose proposal indicates that the award will be in the best interest of the City. The City reserves the right to waive irregularities in the proposal. The City further certifies that it will not discriminate during the selection process on the basis of age, sex, familial status, race,national origin, or handicap status. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. |
