Description | The Panama City Port Authority (PCPA), under the provisions of Florida Statute, Chapter 287.055, is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ's) from Professional Engineering Firms interested in providing Conceptual Design and Permitting Services for the East Terminal Berth Extension. The Panama City Port Authority will utilize an external Professional Engineering Firm to provide all labor, materials, and expertise to produce a complete package (conceptual design, permitting, and deepening) for an approximately 600' extension of the existing 900' East Terminal berth to accommodate up to two (2) large vessels simultaneously (700-foot LOA or more). The Engineering Firm will obtain the necessary FDEP and USACE permits for this project and develop a long-range dredge disposal plan for the Panama City Port Authority. Submission of an SOQ does not guarantee your Company will receive a contract from the Panama City Port Authority, neither does it imply that your Company has a contractual relationship with PCPA now or in the future. Information provided by your Company may be subject to disclosure pursuant to the laws of the State of Florida. PCPA competitively procures services to provide equal opportunity to all qualified companies. If you should have any questions regarding this application package, please submit them by e-mail to Ms. Sarah Harris, Public Relations Administrator, at: sharris@portpanamacityusa.com. The Port Authority reserves the right to reject any or all Statements of Qualifications in whole or in part, to waive informalities in the process, to obtain new submittals, or to postpone the opening of responses submitted pursuant to Port Authority policy. The Panama City Port Authority is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time. |
