Description

Railing fabricated and installed on an ADA ramp located at the Lovett Free Library (6945 Germantown Ave, Phila PA 19119 – at the corners of Sedgwick and Germantown). The newly fabricated railing must match existing including the slope and height of the railing on the opposite side of the ramp 1. Interested bidders must inspect the site to collect field measurements. 2. The new section of railing is approximately 9 feet and 5 7/8 inches in length 3. The new section of railing should be welded to the existing railing to give the appearance of a continuous railing 4. The ramp concrete is newly poured. The post cores in the ramp are already complete to set three 1? inch posts into the ramp – posts must be set in anchor cement. The railing posts should be set approximately 4” into the concrete ramp. 5. The new section of railing and all existing parts of the railing where welding is required must be primed and then finished with two (2) coats of a gloss black professional high-performance oil based enamel 6. Work area must be cleaned after completion of new railing installation.
