| Description | Retain an on-call third party Electrical Inspection Company to provide the services of a licensed Electrical Inspector to assist the Department of Public Works and Transportation personnel in overseeing construction projects and to ensure that electrical installations are completed according to all applicable local, State and Federal guidelines. The Electrical Inspector will act as an advisor to the County Building Inspector regarding the applicable sections of the NYS Building Code by the review of plans and specifications, inspection of existing electrical installations and those under construction; does related work as required. He will perform initial and periodic inspections relating to the construction, alteration and maintenance of commercial and residential electrical systems to determine compliance with the applicable sections of the National Electrical Code and the NYS Building Code. |
