RCA Door Access Control Replacement

Unity is requesting a new access control system. This system will replace our current system that is not currently supporting programs needs and software that is outdated. The replacement will also further support badge access to all areas identified to ensure safety of staff and residents. In addition, it will support pandemic needs for contactless entry and upgrade IT system to support program adjustments due to the pandemic. The following are the requested items: HSPD-12 system integrated into access control system. Required per HHS policy. Lenel HSPD-12 compliant preferred Installation of most current software version. Removal of existing equipment. Installation of 14 doors: 4 read in and read out; 7 doors read in; 2 sets of double doors; 1 elevator with reader on top and bottom floor with access control All exterior doors will be read in/read out, and all interior doors equipped with electric strike where applicable. The access control server will need to be rack mounted no kvm needed. All doors must run to the appropriate floors. Installation of an emergency pull station located at every exit in the event of a non-fire emergency. Training of staff for system management. Service Contract for technical assistance and mechanical issues. There are two network closets, one on the first floor and another on the second floor. Unity is a youth treatment facility and operates 24hrs/day. The vendor would need to ensure compliance with facility visitor requirements and support installation procedures as best possible that respect patient services.
