Description

The 1.75 inch HMA inlay project is located on Calumet Avenue, in Porter County, Indiana. The project will begin at US 6 and terminate at the Town of Chesterton boundaries (approximately 928 North Calumet Avenue). There is a paving exception at the Calumet Avenue bridge over CSX. Shoulders will be excluded from the project. Existing pavement will be milled 1.75 inches deep. Tack coat will be applied. 193 lbs./SY hot mix asphalt pavement, 12.5 mm, Surface, Type B shall be placed.
