Description | ** Project awarded to Kiper Moving for $17,745.60 Please be advised that attendance at the site visit is required prior to submitting a bid. If your company would like to be considered for this project, please review the attached scope of work, scheduled the site visit with the Project Coordinator and submit your bid using the attached bid forms to brm.bids@opwdd.ny.gov This is an RFQ (request for quotes). This is not an IFB (bid). The Broome DDSOO intends to award the contract to the most responsible and responsive vendor that provides the lowest cost and meets the requirements detailed in the scope of work. Upon request, vendor must demonstrate relevant experience on prior projects of similar magnitude. The Broome DDSO reserves the right to reject any and all quotes. In deciding whether to submit a quote, please be aware the awarded vendor must adhere to time frames outlined in the scope of work. The awarded vendor will also be required to submit certificates of Liability Insurance and Worker's Compensations Insurance as well as completed Lobbing Law Forms and Signed Appendix A. Please be prepared to submit these in a timely fashion. The Broome DDSO will make no concessions to the vendor for any alleged misunderstandings or deception because of quantity, quality, character, or other conditions. The Broome DDSO's interpretation of specifications shall be final and binging. Please note all staff working at the project site will be required to sign an attendance sheet for record purposes. This includes the residence visitors log and/or an attendance sheet provided by the maintenance department. This is a NYS Public Works Project and Prevailing Wages MUST be paid. A New York State Department of Labor Prevailing Wage Request is submitted on behalf of OPWDD as the contracting agency. This project will be assigned an Original Wage Schedule with an assigned Prevailing Rate Case number. Selected vendor must comply with all prevailing wage regulations distributed by the NYSDOL Bureau of Public Work. Certified payroll record MUST be submitted at the time of invoicing. **If you need assistance understanding prevailing wages. Please contract NYS Dept. Of Labor @ 607-721 Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Broome DDSOO is seeking a contractor to paint the interior of Prospect 2 for the entire area as marked on the image at the bottom of this document. Winning bidder shall perform all work according to the below scope of work and associated general requirements. SCOPE OF WORK: 1. Vendor shall prep all paintable walls and ceilings in the home for painting. This shall entail making all walls and ceilings smooth in accordance with attached painting standards. 2. Vendor to paint all paintable ceilings, walls, and trim at the Prospect 2 house. Drawings of the interior are attached to this scope but spaces to be painted shall be verified at mandatory site visit. Painting shall be done according to the attached painting standards. 3. All furniture movements, taking down of wall hangings, removal of electrical plates, and other like work needed to paint walls shall be the responsibility of vendor. Vendor must return all moved items to the state they were in before by the end of every workday unless approval to do otherwise is granted by House Director. 4. At the end of each workday, the vendor shall clean the work site in accordance with the painting standards. 5. Paint colors for the rooms will be given to the winning bidder in writing. 6. Vendor must hold a certification to remove lead paint and must adhere to all requirements of the removal of lead paint as this house has tested positive for lead. 7. Work must be warrantied from bubbling, peeling, or other failures for a period of one year from the time the vendor is paid for the job. 8. All work must be done to all applicable codes and standard industry practices. |
