Description | 1.1 Scope: It is the intent of the City of Columbus, Department of Finance and Management, to enter into a Universal Term Contract for the routine maintenance, repair and/or replacement of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems at various City of Columbus facilities. Examples of the work include, but are not limited to, installing fixtures and equipment, new wiring, troubleshooting, and repairing existing HVAC systems and controls. Services under this contract may involve wiring, circuits, small motors, blowers, and maintenance of HVAC systems computerized controls. It is estimated the City will spend Two Hundred Twenty Five Thousand ($225,000.00) annually on this contract. The term of this proposed contract will extend to February 28, 2026. 1.2 Classification: All facilities owned, leased, operated, or funded by the City of Columbus that may require HVAC maintenance and repairs, under Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000) per occurrence. Bidders are required to show experience in providing these types of services, as detailed in these specifications. 1.2.1 Bidder Experience: The Bidder must submit an outline of its experience, and work history for the past five (5) years, not including any previous service to the City of Columbus. 1.2.1.1 A list of qualified personnel with the requisite experience, and license, if required, must be included in the work history. 1.2.2 Bidder References: Bidder shall have documented proven successful contracts from at least four (4) customers that the Bidder supports that are similar in scope, complexity, and cost to the requirements of this specification. Bidders must hold current Ohio Construction Industry Licensing Board (OCILB) HVAC, Refrigeration, and Hydronic license(s). 1.3 Specification Questions: Questions regarding this bid must be submitted on the Vendor Services portal by 11:00 am Monday, November 14, 2022. Responses will be posted on the RFQ on Vendor Services no later than Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 4:00 pm. 1.4 Contract: The City of Columbus reserves the right to award multiple contracts from this request. |
