Description

This specification sets forth the requirements for labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform elevator maintenance for all Water Districts of the Department of Public Works for a period of two (2) years from the date of approved resolution. Additional labor cost that may be needed for various repairs not covered in the specifications of elevator maintenance shall be paid to the contractor on an hourly basis. Estimated person-hours listed hereinafter are for bid purposes only. Contractor shall be paid for actual person-hours served during the contract only. Unit prices will be based on regular time rates. Overtime rate will be 1.5 times regular time rate. Bid Surety Bond is 5% of the total bid price. Performance Bond is 50% of the contract amount. Payment Bond is 50% of the contract amount
