Supplemental Turf Maintenance for Public Works

Scope: The project includes various turf, grass, and vegetative maintenance along road rights-of-way. This work is to supplement existing staff in order to complete these tasks on a timely basis. Maintenance is to include mowers, weed eaters, edge trimmers, limb trimmers, hedge trimmers, backpack blowers and areas of weed killer application. The areas of maintenance are mostly along road rights-of-way and may include curbs, sidewalks, barrier walls and guardrail. Maintenance can usually be performed with zero turn mowers, push mowers, string trimmers, steel blade edgers, limb trimmers, hedge trimmers and backpack blowers.
