Sanding Material 2 - Locations Great Falls Area

Question Submission Close Date 6/17/2022 2:00 PM MDT The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is accepting bids for Sanding Material 2-Locations Great Falls Area. Provide all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary to produce 1,500 tons or 1,000 cubic yards of sanding material. Add 10% contractor furnished salt by weight to 1,500 tons of sanding material or add 10% contractor furnished salt by weight to 1,000 cubic yards of sanding material. Stockpile material to facilitate water runoff.The successful bidder may, at their own risk, perform preparatory materials work only for this contract prior to July 1, 2022. However, the Department will not accept delivery of material or make payment for any work or pay item prior to July 1, 2022. A purchase order must be issued and in place prior to the commencement of any work for the Department. The contract shall be completed between July 1, 2022 and October 31, 2022.
