This project begins about 1050.00 feet (0.199 miles) west of the intersection of US 20 (Lake St) and Gary Avenue and proceeds in an easterly direction for 2571.00 feet (0.487 miles). This project also begins about 600.00 feet (0.114 miles) south of the intersection of US 20 (Lake St) and Gary Avenue and proceeds in a northerly direction for about 1276.00 feet (0.242 miles). The gross and net length of the project is 3847.00 feet (0.729 miles). This project is located within the Village of Hanover Park, the Village of Roselle, and Bloomingdale Township in DuPage County This is a channelization project and the work to be performed under this contract consists of earth excavation, tree removal, hot-mix asphalt pavement widening, hot-mix asphalt surface removal, resurfacing with hot-mix asphalt binder course and hot-mix asphalt surface course, modernization of traffic signals, drainage improvement, proposed sidewalk, proposed corner islands, ditch work, placement of thermoplastic pavement marking, placement of raised reflective pavement markers and recessed reflective pavement markers, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project as shown on the plans and as described herein
