Apron A and Hangar Taxilanes Reconstruction

This project will remove and reconstruct the pavements on Apron A and Taxilanes G, H, H1, H2, J, L, M, and N at Mansfield Lahm Regional Airport (MFD). The existing horizontal alignments of Taxilanes J, H, G and N will be re-aligned per FAA standards to increase the ability to serve a larger fleet mix in the general aviation area. The reconstructed HMA pavement section will be frost protected with a lime stabilized subgrade. The existing stormwater collection system will be relocated and constructed to accommodate the new taxilane horizontal geometry. Underground bio-retention cells will be constructed to meet the requirements of the Ohio Department of Environmental Protection (OEPA) general construction permit. The airfield lighting and signage system will be relocated and reconstructed to align with the new taxilane horizontal geometry
