Description

As of January 31, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Demolition of Chestnut Street Pump Station Structure Technical Questions Please address to the Office of the Director of Public Works at (973) 885-1921. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of NJSA 10:5-31 et. Seq. and Affirmative Action requirements of P.L. 1975, C. 127 (NJAC 17:27 et seq). All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked on the outside. Bidders seeking the award of this contract must be registered with the State of New Jersey pursuant to the State Business Registration Act. A certificate showing proof of registration must be included in all bid proposals. At that time representatives of the Construction Manager and the Owner will be present to explain what work will be done, construction sequences necessary to complete the project and what standard of quality will be expected. Each bidder is strongly encouraged to attend this conference. Effective January, 2007, all business entities are advised of their responsibility to file an annual disclosure statement of political contributions with the New Jersey Law Enforcement Commission (ELEC) pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.27 if they receive contracts in excess of $50,000 from public entities in a calendar year. Business entities are responsible for determining if filing is necessary. Bids will be received at the hour named, no bids will be received after the time and date specified, and no bids will be received by mail. Bids shall be received by courier service (date and time recorded) or shall be hand delivered. Each bid must be accompanied by the Consent of Surety Form and a guarantee which shall be in the amount of 10% of the bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, except as otherwise provided herein, and may be given, at the option of the bidder by certified check, cashier's check or bid bond payable to the City of Orange Township.
