Description | Acquisition Title: 442-21-012 OR HVAC PH 2 21238.001 Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment and supervision to complete all required project work in accordance with the provided SOW, Specifications and Drawings. The project is located at the Cheyenne VA Medical Center located at 2360 E. Pershing Blvd., Cheyenne, WY 82001. This is a competitive requirement set aside 100% for a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Magnitude of construction: $2,000,000 - $5,000,000. The NAICS code for this project is 236220 with a size standard of $45M. A pre-bid site visit shall be held on April 13, 2023, at 2:00 PM MT. All interested Contractors shall meet at the following location - Building 11 - Engineering. Submission of RFIs/Questions is due by COB Monday, April 17, 2023. This project follows the Phase 1 Project Replace AHU 1 & 23 and further corrects deficiencies in the Surgical Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system as well as replaces aged infrastructure in/ around the four Operating Rooms (ORs) at the Cheyenne VA Medical Center. PRINCIPAL NAICS CODE: 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction PRODUCT/SERVICE CODE: Z2DA - Repair or Alteration of Hospitals and Infirmaries This project follows the Phase 1 Project Replace AHU 1 & 23 and further corrects deficiencies in the Surgical Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system as well as replaces aged infrastructure in/ around the four Operating Rooms (ORs) at the Cheyenne VA Medical Center. This project is located at the Cheyenne VA Medical Center Campus at 2360 East Pershing Blvd., Cheyenne WY, 82001. All local and federal standards and requirements shall be met. Project phasing considerations will be in accordance with the drawings and specifications, final phasing determined by the contractor. All outages and shutdowns shall be closely coordinated with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) with minimum 20 days' notice, per the specification requirements. 2. Project Scope This SOW is provided in order to construct the project as outlined herein, in the construction drawings (including any addendums), specifications, and any further detail provided in this SOW. All work shall be planned and scheduled to minimize the construction activity impact on the operation of the medical center. All work shall be conducted with strict adherence to Cheyenne Medical Center and Veteran's Health Administration regulations and infection control requirements. A fully integrated modular laminar air delivery system will be provided for each of the four ORs which includes HEPA filtered laminar diffusers, LED lights, surgical light/boom mounts, and rails to accept an owner provided patient lift as detailed in the construction documents. The basis of design is the AirFRAME(R) by SLD Technology. Any substitutions submitted must meet all requirements of the construction documents and specifications, reference specification 13 50 10 for specific performance and design requirements for the Integrated Modular Air Delivery Manifold System. Any substitutions should take the same design approach coordinated in the design documents including, but not limited to, the layout and connection points of the medical booms, ductwork, electrical, and structural supports to limit any re-design needed to implement an alternate manufacturer. If equipment is submitted which differs in arrangement from that shown, provide documentation proving equivalent performance, design standards, and drawings that show the rearrangement of all associated system. Additionally, any impacts on ancillary equipment or services such as structural, piping, and electrical shall be the Contractors' responsibility to design, supply, and install at no additional cost of time to the Government.
