| Description | Project overview: The Work under this Contract consists of controlled burning, invasive vegetation management, and woody species control to promote stability and ecological habitat enhancement. The District is seeking to hire a contractor for an approximate three-year period (plus a possible two-year extension) to accomplish the contract goals. Questions shall be directed to Nick Fuller, Natural Resource Project Coordinator at nfuller@dupageforest.org. Consideration of contract award will likely be made on Tuesday, November 1, 2022. Minority business firms are encouraged to submit bids on the project and successful contract bidders are encouraged to utilize minority businesses as subcontractors for supplies, equipment, services and construction. The Forest Preserve Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities. |
