Description

No prebid meeting will be held. A. The conditions set forth in the other Project Manual Divisions, the Construction Drawings, and related or included References are hereby made a part of this Section and apply to all work in this Section. 1.2 PROJECT A. This Project shall generally include the work shown on Drawings related to the construction of the Bde Maka Ska Refectory - Food Service Equipment and related site and street improvements. The Work shall include, but is not limited to: 1. Mobilization 2. Providing and installing Food Service Equipment. B. Work of the Project consists of all labor, materials, articles, equipment, incidentals, items, tools, services, supplies, methods, operations, and skills in such quantities as may be necessary to complete the project within the intent of the Contract Documents. RESPONSIBILITY OF THE FOOD SERVICE EQUIPMENT CONTRACTOR A. Work will be accomplished under a Single Prime Contract including but not limited to providing and installing Food Service Equipment. B. The Food Service Equipment Contractor shall supervise and direct the Work as required by the Contract Documents. The Food Service Equipment Contractor shall be responsible for the scheduling and general management of the Work and for the acts and omissions of all of their employees including Subcontractors, their agents and employees, and all other personsperforming any of the Work for the Food Service Equipment Contractor. C. Prior to construction, the Food Service Equipment Contractor shall coordinate scheduling and execution of the Work with the continued use of the site and facilities by the General Building Construction Contractor, Building Subcontractors, the Owner, and the public. The Food Service Equipment Contractor will coordinate with the General Contractor, and Owner Representative to assure that the Construction and Owners daily operations, programming, events or any other ongoing activities occurring onsite during construction can continue without interruption or significant modification. 1. The Food Service Equipment Contractor shall be solely responsible for all construction means, methods, techniques and procedures, and for coordinating all portions of the Work under this Contract. 2. The Food Service Equipment Contractor shall be responsible for initiating, maintaining, and supervising all safety precautions and programs in connection with the Food Service Equipment Work. 3. In all cases of discrepancies discovered by the Food Service Equipment Contractor between any information shown on the Construction Drawings including, but not limited to, dimensions and details, or between the Construction Drawings and the Specifications, such cases shall be resolved according to the Contract Documents. The City of Minneapolis is issuing this Call for Bids for prospective suppliers to provide all materials, labor, equipment and incidentals for the supply and installation of the Bde Maka Ska Refectory-Kitchen Equipment, for the City of Minneapolis, all in accordance with the provided specifications, event line items and all documents requested herein. A contractor responding to this solicitation document swears that they are in compliance with the minimum criteria in Minnesota Statutes, section 16C.285, subdivision 3, and shall upon request submit to the city a signed statement under oath by an owner or officer verifying compliance with each of the minimum criteria.
