| Description | Scope: The work consists of relocating fire pump equipment to a new rated enclosure adjacent to future tunnel location. Remove existing fire pump, jockey PumP, and associated control panels. Remove concrete pads at existing equipment locations, and remove portions of concrete slab to relocate/install 3 floor drains. Relocate ballast tank near future tunnel location. Furnish and install new floor drains. Repair concrete at floor drain locations, and install new concrete equipment pads. Furnish and install new fire pump, jockey PumP, piping, and associated control pun.tr within new 2-hour fire-rated room. Route new electrical service from the utility provider underground vault to the courthouse underground vault, and provide 2-hour rated enclosure over electrical service components to the new fire pump location. Provide 90-minute rated hollowmetal door and frame, interior lighting, and emergency fixture to new fire pump room. Paint interiors to match adjacent walls and doors/frames. |
