Description

Concrete Lining of approx. 270 LF of 48 In. Diam. Type S, C.P.E. Pipe Pipe Lining has a 48-inch diameter storm drain pipe which lies beneath a constructed Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) Wall. The pipe is double walled (Type S - smooth interior) corrugated polyethylene pipe, often referred to as an "ADS" pipe after a well-known manufacturer. Currently the CCSWA is "out-tobid" on a project (planned to start by early or mid-February 2022) which will extend the wall and create a little over 2 Acres of new cell floor. Upon completion of that project, and subsequent landfilling in the new cell area, the 48-inch pipe will be unnecessary and abandoned. As such the Landfill is desirous to increase the structural integrity of this pipe to prevent collapse of the pipe and any settlement damage that may occur to the MSE Wall
